Method 1:

The first procedure that you can adopt to clean the internal part of your electric kettle is the use of vinegar.

The things that are required for cleaning the kettle includes:

  • Water.
  • Vinegar.

These are the main two things to clean all the scales from the electric kettle.

Procedure:

Prepare the solution of water and the vinegar. Take both things of ratio 1:1. Then pour that solution into the electric kettle and boil it after boiling the solution switch off the kettle and leave it for some time. If the scaling is hard, then you have to use cloth but take care of that it doesn’t make any scratch on the kettle.

Moreover, after cleaning with the soft cloth, make sure that the cloth is non-metallic. The cloth is mainly used when the scales are very bad. Then pour out all the water from the kettle. Now you will observe, after cleaning the kettle, it will start working properly.

Method-2:

If the kettle you are using, do not allow you to use the vinegar, then do not fret out. You can still clean your electric kettle with the use of lemon.

Things you need is:

  • Slices of lemon.
  • Water.

Procedure:

If you want to clean the kettle with the lemon, then include the water in the kettle and cut one lemon add its juice in the water also put the slices in the water. Plug-in the switch and boil the water. When the water is fully boiled, then leave the kettle for a few minutes.

Moreover, if the materials are stick hardly with the kettle, then you have to make use of the scrubber but remember that it should be non-metallic otherwise it will leave scratches on the kettle. Hence, it will spoil your kettle.

Another method used for cleaning the electric kettle is the use of baking soda.

Things you need:

  • A spoon of baking soda.
  • Water.

Procedure:

If you do not have lemon and vinegar, then do not fret out. You can use baking soda as it is available in every house. Firstly, you have to prepare the solution of the baking soda and warm water.

You have to add one spoon in one glass of water. Add this solution to the electric kettle and leave it for soaking for about 20 to 25 minutes. Baking soda is considered to be the best chemical for cleaning things.

After 20 to 25 minutes, pour out all the water, and you will see that your kettle is neatly cleaned. Moreover, in this method, you don’t have to scrub the kettle.

Method-4:

In this method, you have to spend little money because these include some kettle cleaning chemicals.

Things you need:

  • Cleaning chemical
  • Water.

Procedure:

Using the cleaning chemical, you can clean your kettle. The procedure you have to follow is to mix the chemical in the water present inside the kettle as per the instruction given in the packet. Then heat the water and leave it for half an hour.

You can get the cleaning chemical from any super-market. After half an hour, pour out the water and rinse the kettle to get the neat and clean kettle.

Clean electric kettle from Outside

  • Soft cloth.
  • Dish wash.
  • Olive oil.

Procedure:

Using the dishwasher, you can clean the kettle with the help of a soft cloth. Again do not use metallic cloth because it will leave scratches on the kettle, so after you clean the kettle with dish wash.

The next thing you have to do is place two drops of olive oil on the kettle and rub gently with the soft cloth on the kettle.
